per Rick Dhaliwal:
Jim Benning on SN 650.
- Reports that we are far part with Boeser are not true and they are unfounded.
- There sure is a future for Tryamkin, I talked his agent in Buffalo last week.
- Juolevi will see the doctor this week and looks to get the green light to skate next week.
Jim Benning on 650
- We are talking with Schenn's agent, we would like to bring him back.
- We will continue to talk with Edler.
- I will talk with Eriksson maybe this week about his comments about Travis. - Codes1087

Not that I want Zaitsev, but if the sweetener was:
Zaitsev and Kapannen for Tanev (50% retained) and Granlund/Schaller
Toronto gets cap relief and an upgrade on their D, plus a depth forward for penalty kill or a tougher nosed guy for the playoffs. Van takes on the longer contract and money, but gets back a young forward with upside and gets rid of one of their bottom six plethora. - NewYorkNuck
cant see that working for toronto, kapenens value is much higher than being a sweetener imo. he could easily be traded in a separate deal and a fraction of it could be used to sweeten a smaller zaitsev deal |

Holy poop you Richard mittens piss me off.
"Weaponize the cap", "overhaul the defense", "Benning needs to be active"...
One rumor where he could potentially do all of that and you cum guzzlers have a meltdown.
Frankly, I don't give a (frank) if he trades for Zaitsev. I'm willing to wait and see what said deal looks like before I require an enema.
If somehow, the deal includes Kapanen or Johnsson or Nylander or Liligren then I'll gladly take Zaitsev and be his personal fluffer....
"But we're worried about what JN will give up!" - get a grip walking miscarriages, Toronto can't afford to take back salary, and JB ain't giving up prime prospects or picks so expect it to include a Gadjovich or a Brisebois and maybe one of our poopty depth forwards, say Granlund?
Now, if said deal includes JV, feel free to call me out, call me stupid and generally mock the piss out of me....I'll gladly bend over....
See you at the draft since I'll likely be banned until then after this.......
Peace! - chompsey

Unless they’re able to trade Zaitsev and Marleau before July 1, they could find themselves in a situation to have players get offer sheeted. So time isn’t on their side right now.
While Kap could get a good return on his own, Toronto needs to upgrade their D in a big way and Tanev would be a great player for them on the right side. So they lose a good young forward, but upgrade their D and cap situation in the process. |

time isnt on their side in theory. realistically no offersheets will arrive because the os system is broken. only a handful of teams have enough capspace and all 4 of their own first round picks to make the offers
and id like to believe tanev is right for them, but his injuries are taking a massive toll. losing kapenen creates a hole in their top-6/9 |

Benning on Edler talks : "We are going to keep talking with Edler's agent. Sometimes the different sides have different things they are trying to accomplish. We have not found common ground yet. We want Alex back and will try and figure it out." #Canucks
JB needs to draw the line and say here's what it is. Locker room doesn't need a guy who's there for himself. Trade his rights. |

Sure, as long as long as there's no young players. Leivo has been good, don't know too much about Zucker but his stats look good. |

50 point guy if he gets to play with EP. Could be a good fit I just hope the price isn't too high |

When I heard they asked for Brock
What JB gives up would certainly create the usual hysteria and meltdown here.
Still think it (a trade) will happen at the draft. |

Per everyone in the media, Dubas doesn’t believe (nor do the media) that a sweetener is required, quite the opposite, they can get an actual asset for Zeitsey. |

Playing with EP should make a good player a 100 point guy. Nick Jensen could score 50 with EP, we need better than that. |

From the CanuckWay
"Not sure if Minnesota would be interested in packaging Zucker and the No. 12 pick for Vancouver’s 10th selection, since Fenton would only be moving up two spots. Maybe additional picks could be involved to make a trade happen."

Remember when it came out that Chiapet thought the same thing about Lucic? Draft picks and assets for him? Ya, that. |

he got fleeced on Granlund and Nino trades, I imagine with the backlash he faced, he will overvalue all of his players moving forward. |
