Clearly that didn’t work, but that has nothing to do with their ability to identify talent at the draft.

Yes and that is primarily because of their top line, I agree about contribution from all lines, but there is SEVERAL reasons they are where there are. Vancouver needs some QUALITY hard to play against, tough as nails players. We have one maybe one and a half, Pettersson, Boeser, Goldobin are softer than charmin, can’t say that for Marchand, Bergeron or Pasternak
