Top 4 RHD & Top 6 W are the players we need. The rest can fight it out. - Nighthawk
Our bottom 6 were the worst in league at 5v5 goal differential last year. Dead last. We need players at all positions |

The bottom 6 needs to play better & injuries hurt that. Doesn’t change the fact the top 6 isn’t good enough. Who wants to focus on the bottom 6 anyways. Lousy D causes many issues. |

Good teams put an emphasis on making all lines work, and all D pairings work.
Boston acquired 2/3 of the third line this year in Johansson and Coyle. They are dominating this playoffs. Theres a reason they are where they are. |

But you have to have professional scouts who know what they're doing. |

After trading Kevin Hayes to the Flyers for a 5th RD pick, the #NHLJets now have a total of four picks in the upcoming NHL Entry Draft.
51- 2nd RD (WPG)
113 - 4th RD (WPG)
134 - 5th RD (PHI)
144 - 5th RD (WPG)

Better offensive D are what stop most of any of our offence. Hughes & 1 more good D will show how good our F’s really are. Hard to be good on the bottom 6 when our D is so sad. It all starts on the D til we are contender. |

What does the Jets drafting have to do with the picks they have for this draft? What if they draft 4 kids who play NHL games? |

Yes and that is primarily because of their top line, I agree about contribution from all lines, but there is SEVERAL reasons they are where there are. Vancouver needs some QUALITY hard to play against, tough as nails players. We have one maybe one and a half, Pettersson, Boeser, Goldobin are softer than charmin, can’t say that for Marchand, Bergeron or Pasternak |

Or, is it that the bottom 6 is so bad that even a decent D can’t get the puck out? |
