How do you know what goes on in the locker room? - Nighthawk
I have no ducking idea what he is like in the dressing room, which is why I made the Point as a question, although I forgot the question mark.
Let's not pretend that there wasn't some conflict in Ottawa between him and Hoffman, and him tearing a strip off his defense partner was shown on tv.
I think the guy is a POS, who is a terrible defender.
edit; You of all people, shouldn't be questioning someone else's opinion, or wording of a comment. |

With his injury history a team would be nuts to go long term - VANTEL
He doesn’t have an injury history? In the past six years, 492 games worth, he’s missed 44 games, 29 of which were last year with groin problems.
The guy is exactly what this team has needed since Jovo left. Offence from the defence. |

For sure.
He'll get you 60+ points as a dman but be -40 doing it.
No way. - LordHumungous
you’re so clueless it’s comical. Why does this fan base not want one of the best offensive defensemen of recent years?
It’s like guys like you think Boston would be better off without Krug, a pure offensive defenseman, because he’s not great defensively. I bet the Bruins and every other GM disagrees with your take on this.
Karlsson just turned 29 two days ago, he’d be 35 when his contract was up. The guy had 45 points in 53 games last year and he was +6. He’s probably got five great years left in him.
This team desperately needs a pure offensive defenseman, and he’s free, no assets required lol. |

lol you are probably one of those jack-asses that loved Luongo and his contract.
Go ahead champ...take on Karlsson then whine about his contract for 8 years...
Nothing is free. An albatross contract is not what this team needs right now considering we have Hughes waiting in the wings.
Man it's a good thing you aren't our GM.

I don’t “love” any players, that said, Luongo was a great goaltender, he has almost every statistical goaltending record in franchise history. But the TEAM couldn’t win the final game so he’s a bum right, lol, (frank) me this fan base is full of idiots.
Why can’t/couldn’t we just be happy we have one of the top three offensive defensemen and be happy about it. Pay him accordingly. Again, we’re so afraid of nice things because our management overpays bums like Eriksson and Sutter and Beagle etc. etc.
Pay him up front and worry about the next five year window with him, Pettersson, Horvat, Boeser, etc. all giving us a chance to win.
Painful debating with guys like you. Alberta sucked your intelligence out of your brain, seemingly? |

Fight fight fight!!! - Codes1087
I’ve been posting on and off here at HB since 2007, twelve years, it’s like our fan base is now so afraid of six or seven years from now that we can’t see our immediate future.
Benning (frank)ed himself and the franchise over with his Eriksson contract so we’re afraid to do it again, let’s not get one of the best 29 year old defensemen in the league because in six years it might hurt us.
FFS just structure the contract properly and enjoy him for the next five years with Petey and Boeser. Our PP would improve immensely. |

In 2011 we had Ehrhoff help our PP be one of the best in the league, 2012 Edler (49) and Bieksa (44) both had 40+ point seasons and another great season and PP.
Why don’t you guys want great players unless they’re a bargain? |

With a 8 month pregnant wife, and a running around 2 year old, stressful is an understatement lol.
Our family cat of 5 years had to suddenly be put down 2 days ago too which is definitely never an easy time. Really looking forward to the draft and being fully moved in. Will have a brand new living room and TV setup to watch it on |
