I fully understand someone not like having Beagle and Sutter together. I really do agree with you guys on that. You can make a shut down line of Sutter Beagle but it is a little extravagant . I think BS will be moved sometime this year either at the draft or TDL. - VANTEL
If they aren't moving him, I'd like to see them make room for Gaudette to play C by putting Beagle, Sutter and Eriksson together. Whatever, $15m fourth line, no biggie. |

I hope the Fuk I don't have to see Erikssons stupid face in a Canuck uniform this year.
Don't give him poop. A bust like that does not deserve to play here. Let him ride buses to games and sleep in Hotel 6 . |

Agreed. Let him complain about how the coaches aren’t utilizing him properly in the minors. I’d rather eat the cap hit then see his stupid O face every game. |

Did you just quote Canucks Army? Minivan, get this in the book. - 1970vintage
If the stats/graphs are accurate, pretty hard to disagree that he’s a mess. Looks like Hutton 2.0 scenario. |

Cole Moberg
Date of birth: October 17th, 2000
Nation: Canada
Position: Defence
Shoots: Right
Height: 6’3″ / 190 cm
Weight: 198 lbs / 90 kg
Profile: One of the oldest draft eligibles this year, Moberg is a mobile right-handed defenceman that has been able to perform on a very bad Prince George Cougars team. The North Vancouver native used his above-average skating ability to score 13 goals, the ninth most from defencemen in the WHL. - Nighthawk

Was just looking at the UFA lists from 2020/21 and 2021/22. Next year isn't bad, but the year after is dreadful. If you believe this team is close enough that you are going to want to add, you want Benning to go all in this year or next. - 1970vintage
Thats bang on & i’ve looked at that also. When i dream of a Panarin that’s what is behind it all & he is legit elite that do not come around often. Rare a winger can drive the play & exactly what we need. |

I would like them to add a manager that went to school (lawyer) and has experience with the CBA. I would feel much better about them navigating the salary cap and contract situations down the road. - 1970vintage
Sounds like a resurrection of Burkie 😂 |

I think we all would like that. I feel Jimbo is getting better at everything . I know you didn't like last years signings , I didn't mind them at all.
Having Beagle will let you say adios to Sutter who served his purpose and now is time to move on. When Gaudette is ready we will say bye to Beagle.
Need to have some experience to guide the young guys.
As much as everyone complains about the situation we have one of the best cap situations in the league. - VANTEL
Agree.
Now it comes down to who how & when to use the cap. |

My opposition to Beagle is only because of Sutter. If they can move him, problem solved. I don't think they will though.
Would you rather they went all in this year on Panarin/Karlsson, or waited a year and made a play for Hall/Pietrangelo? - 1970vintage
I’d start at get Panarin.
Next up is many decisions are needed on the F’s whether trade or let walk or demote.
The D corp needs a remake.
Then it’s a RHD somehow.
Add an OS to it all for a 2nd.
That’s my ideal scenario or if most gets done & continue the work in season or next.

Moberg and Broberg - neem55
I know the Moberg family who were big on fastball with Buster Moberg being one of the best pitchers or THE best in the world.
A story for you. I was playing ball & the ump was his former catcher on a club team that went to the Worlds. He said he wasn’t a great catcher but club teams are not stacked with allstars. So he went to the mound & said lets walk the batter. Buster said ok then beaned him instead. Catcher went back out & asked why & Buster said i don’t throw balls. That my friends is a true Alpha. |

Mike Zeisberger: Dubas on the possibility of offer sheets to Mitch Marner, Kasperi Kapanen, or Andreas Johnsson. He said that they are ready if it happens and: “We don’t want to leave ourselves exposed to the actions of an irrational actor in the marketplace — another team that has the ability to do something that’s crazy.”
Irrational actor? Does Dubas think they are impervious or just naive. Geez lol |
