Maybe a different system brings more to his game. Kreuger seems to get more out of players (granted in a short amount of time, and who knows if it was sustainable). Maybe he can get Jeff to do more than just put the puck in the net.

It may take a different center than Jack who always has the puck.

I've been tricking myself for years that the Sabres will turn it around. I'm in the hopelessly optimistic phase of the offseason.

If I'm Botterill i'm doing everything I can to move Okposo, people want to take on Callahan to get a better player and suffer for a year, well we need to give up something to get Okposo off this team.

I think they can survive for 2 years more on the 4th line/13F.
Then, hopefully we have a new CBA for a reduced (compliance) buyout ...if not, trade retain 50% or buy him out normally.

#1 FA target: Chase Priskie. Caps 6th rounder is going to UFA, Right shot defenseman who put up pretty good numbers (top 10 in EV goals among all d-men in NCAA). Apparently very smart as well, which our team of idiots could use.
