If he had said: "to be honest, I don't follow women's golf" there wouldn't have been a problem. It was when he started getting into the Asian women stuff, etc. that he got in trouble.

I would expect an NHL radio guy to be able to name 6 good women's hockey players though

because they are soft.... they have that combination of grit, speed and skill. you still need to have it all. speed and skill is good for the regular season but when things get heated and emotional in the playoffs you need grit too..

The Blues have shown some serious grit too. I think moreso than the B's last night. I didn't watch them much this year but I am surprised at how they are matching the B's toughness. They have big, physical, mobile defensemen but I never realized how physical their forwards can be.

You need speed and skill guys that can turn on the grit when needed. If these teams played like this all season they'd be banged up all year. The season is a grind to play well enough to make the playoffs with hopefully some momentum and a healthy roster. This is the time to leave it all on the ice.
