I gotta admit, anyone on here bashing ROR for anything at this point is coming across like a real loser...

He got traded, had a career season, got nominated for TWO awards, is playing in the Stanley Cup finals and because he isn't scoring at over a .ppg clip in the NHL playoffs, he's a ghost and sucks?

Holy crap dude, we root for the SABRES. We shouldn't be criticizing anyone except Toronto because fvck Toronto.

Let me know how Jack ECHL did this year in the playoffs.
- BeadyEyedDouche

When the Sabres have a calder nominated goalie, a Jack Adams nominee behind the bench, two Olympic Gold medal winning veteran defenseman who can still play at high level, one of the best bottom 6's in the league, and one of the best supporting d-corps in the league I'd love to see how he does.

That post has no comparison of the players.

It is a comparison of two logically inconsistent takes featuring the players.

- Der Kaiser

Except no one on planet earth thinks Tage is better.

He got shots and chances and that = potential.

But you absolutely already know this so you should probably just go back to pointing out Rasmus Dahlin’s flaws. You know, our best player and one who will have 5x the career ROR will have

At PFF, one of our advanced metrics of tracking quarterback play is called adjusted completion percentage, which accounts for drops, throwaways, spikes, batted passes and throws where the QB is hit on his release. Allen ranks last among qualified QBs with a 62.1 adjusted completion percentage, and when he’s under pressure, his adjusted completion percentage plummets to 45.2 percent (he’s the only QB at less than 57.0 percent in terms of adjusted completion percentage under pressure)."

"He’s struggled with his accuracy when targeting players who are in tight coverage: His 39.0 adjusted completion percentage on throws to receivers who are either in tight coverage, have a defender closing in on them or have just a step of separation on their coverage defender also ranks last.

"In relative terms, he’s also been one of the least efficient QBs when it comes to hitting the target when the receiver is either open or wide open, with his 85.0 adjusted completion percentage on those throws ranking 38th. His accuracy struggles don’t really favour any specific depth of the field either, they’ve persisted all over. Allen ranks 32nd among QBs with an 82.1 adjusted completion percentage on throws traveling no more than nine yards in the air; he ranks 37th with a 52.9 adjusted completion percentage on throws traveling between 10 and 19 yards in the air; and he ranks 32nd with a 32.4 adjusted completion percentage on throws traveling 20 or more yards in the air.

"When we break down the throws from those 39 qualified QBs, Allen ranks 37th with 53.9 percent of his passes falling into the accurate bucket (the NFL average is 61.9 percent)."

Im not defending his crappy season, I'm just not giving up on his potential. Idc what ROR has done this year, what is he going to be doing in 2021 when the Sabres are actually a viable threat ? Tage might be a 24 YO PWF at that time and ROR could be taking up space on the Blues like Stepan is in Arizona.
- Pegullaville

Well why don’t u just save your love for Tage until he’s actually worthy of it
And do the same with your disdain towards ROR

Career season, Selke finalist, and the “cancer” is playing in the Cup finals

I mean, seriously...
the guy has literally gone & done all the things this year that the haters all said he never would

God I hate everything about Boston, especially their fans
- BeadyEyedDouche

Well those evil refs have called THREE whole minor power plays for the Blues through a game and a half. They thought it'd be three for the series, max.

Tage and Allen are both far from finished products and I'm not going to judge them until they play at least another full season.

- OneKaneOneCup

No, I remember the time he crashed into a Tim Horton's, played on the first team in NHL history to finish 31st, spoke honestly in an interview about losing passion for the game, got traded to a Blues team that everyone, including myself, was writing off this season (a team that went from last place to the Stanley Cup Finals), had a career season, and THEN got voted for the Masterton.

Having to have played on Buffalo alone for the past few years should be qualification for the Masterton at this point.

And by the way, he also got nominated for the SELKE AWARD which is for BEST DEFENSIVE FORWARD IN THE NHL. A role he is playing perfectly in the playoffs and because he has a - rating and less than 50% on faceoffs the herb brigade decided to come out and root for (frank)ing BOSTON?

Honestly, cut the long way, not the short way.

Says the guy excited about signing Joe flacco to lead his team.

Flacco's value is a 4th round pick.

Flacco backed up a rookie qb last season. A really marginally skilled rookie qb.

Flacco rushing 163 games 811 rushing yards 16 tds
Allen rushing 12 games 631 rushing yards 8 tds

Those are career #'s flaccoville.

It's like when you break up with a girl, and then she's dating someone else. You're always kinda curious who she ends up with, whether she's still hot, and whether she won the Selke with the blues
