If we got Panarin and said we’re going for it in 1-2 years would you guys be comfortable with having an extremely young but talented team?
Kakko Zib Chytil
Panarin Andersson Kravtsov
Lemeuix Howden Kreider
Rolling the dice a bit that Andersson develops but if he does that could be fun to watch. - nyrangers9479
I'm with you. Lots of people just poopting on Andersson. Give the guy a (frank)ing chance. |

WHere is Buch in this scenario? One of the reasons you trade Howden/Strome/Lias is that you really don't have room for everyone. I love Lemeuix, but I think he might be on the way out eventually too. |

I don't want to poop on Lias, but I'm just not sure where he fits in when all these guys come over. Before the lottery, I would say Lias/Howden was in a pretty good battle to see who would emerge as a future 3C with hope of more upside. Now we are penciling in Hughes/Kakko, Kravs, and trying to get Panarin. If Lias is a part of this team's future, he's really going to have to establish himself. If he does, it might come at the expense of Howden and *gulp* Chytil.
It's a good problem to have, having a sudden depth of core players, but it's going to be a issue that needs tackling none the less. |

Leimeux will get the bridge deal, that’s a pretty good bet I’d make. Then evaluate him after that’s up. There are guys that need to go before him imo. He’s a kid that really hasn’t gotten a chance besides 4th line duties so far, more so in Winnipeg. |

If you want to give him a full chance, you might have to trade Kreider. You get Panarin and leave Chytil at wing, your wings are stacked. Even playing Chytil as a C, I'm not sure where he's going to slot in. It won't be in the top 6. |

I’d definitely trade Lias or Howden, with pick 20..you could maybe get William Karlsson (add to it if need be). Because they wont be able to keep him (cap issues) and he’s a solid #2 center they could really use immediately. If not Willy K, I’d use one of them with #20 to see if they could get a center. And if Chytil, or anyone else, develops into a center that’s terrific |

Adam French posted a blog about some prospects. Decent read that highlights some players I haven't seen much on. Karl Henriksson sounds like a good add in the 2/3 round. |

I don't think I have seen Andersson take a legit shot on goal or create a scoring chance since he has been in the NHL. Think all his points are deflections off his arse or other body parts |

Exactly. Sort of like saying Ferland is better than Simmonds.

Can they both suck or nah? Can they both not be worth 5-6 mill a year? Which I’ve actually stated, but you’ll twist my words to fit your NARRATIVE, therefore it’s pointless to talk to you
You went on for weeks about that. Looking pretty foolish no?
Was it dead grandpa that taught you how to twist words like you do? |

And two sticks took the bait
Carp did mention them adding some beef tho, but Simmonds is to slow. Ferland is the guy I’d want in that area, but hes the guy that probably gets a crazy deal this summer from someone. One of those 6 yrs 30 mill or something - Slimtj100

Yes. Ferland as a 4th liner, like Simmonds would be. Yes he’s better the Simmonds RIGHT NOW. Lucic may in fact be better then Simmonds RIGHT NOW. But spin it how you want, dead grandpa must be proud! |

We have no one else on the team like Lemeuix, I think he’s pretty safe for now. Buch is a skill guy but so are Kakko/Panarin/Kravtsov/Chytil. A 3rd line with Kreider/Lemieux would be tough to defend. |

I have deliberated on this topic Karlsson or Trouba
Trouba is the best choice to cornerstone our D
trading Lias A +.Pionk + pick #1 / will get it done
Losing Shatty,Smith somehow is a must
Panarin is the must sign ,hope the pundits are right
"he's ours to lose " but cant sign till July
with draft here in June , we have to move our pieces before F A starts
Center is the deal that will determine how far team will progress
Krieds may have to be sacrificed to get the top center to work with Zib
too many young centers ,wont be a factor next season probably and with out help
Zib will break down ,going 2 yrs in a row wont happen for him without someone to share the load .... |

prolly not
remember, he's from Michigan, Trouba grew up a Wings fan, they need help on blueline desperately
Wings have picks and prospects and can definitely make better offer for Trouba than the one you just suggested

I'm still not sure where you are slotting Lemeuix on the 3rd line. If we actually do get Panarin, our top 9 looks like this:
Kreider-Zib-Buch
Panarin-Strome/Chytil-Kakko
Strome/Chytil-Andersson/Howden-Kravstov
I guess you could put him in Strome's place if he's on the third line there, but you would never pick him over Chytil. If he bumps either Kravstov or Kakko, that would be a disaster.
It's not even a lock that he makes the team. He are people who he'd be in contention with on the 4th line:
Loser of Howden/Andersson for 3C, Boo, Smith?, Names, Vesey, Fast, and anyone else who is on the top of the depth chart in Hartford. Can you really say that he beats enough of these guys for certain? Sure, some of these guys will be gone from the team, but there are plenty of scenarios where Lemeuix is in Hartford or would be used as a trade piece.
Getting Kakko has changed everything for the org. If we get Panarin too, we suddenly have a good problem in having a really deep roster. |

I'd say let them. Getting Fox has really clogged things up on the depth chart. Let ADA see if he can stick on the top pair and just let things fall into place. If Fox is the real deal, a top 4 of ADA/Shatty and Skjei/Fox could be alot worse. |
