You really think he's Andy Delmore? - Tomahawk
Streit at the end of his career. Dougie Hamilton is on the 3rd pair now I believe. There’s other examples
Problem with ghost is while he’s shifty he actually has below average speed in today’s league |

The Dougie Hamilton I saw in the playoffs saw a lot of ice time. So much so, I was wonder why I was barely seeing Justin Faulk in offensive situations. |

I could be wrong, but I’m pretty sure all this talk about Ghost seems to totally contradict what was said about his character coming out of Union. - Flyers1218
Money changes people. He could also be upset with the contract that he signed. He may feel he is underpaid. The evaluation of his character coming out of college could have been wrong as well.
Someone may have pissed in his Wheaties. We will never know the truth |

Drew Doughty was -34 this season, better clip his wings too. - Tomahawk
One difference is Doughty had 8 straight years as a + player. But at this point LA would probably like to clip his wings and his 11 million salary too. |

Does Alain Vigneault question Sean Couturier’s ability to carry a team as number one center after his world performance? Vigneault has seen plenty of the Flyers in our division and I’m sure has had to study us regularly as Rangers head coach. |

First thing I thought of was the N-bomb raining from the rafters when Subban played in a playoff series against them in 2014. I don’t think that disgrace of a fan base realized Jerome iginla played for 78 games for them that season. |

Giroux can play center and has played a lot of center against his teams. Couturier wasn’t lighting it up for the world’s. |

As has already been said. Giroux is a wing now. That has been settled by the players own words.

Where whom plays isn’t decided by the players. I would also like to see a link of the players saying this. |

Shayne Gostisbehere is a number one defenseman.
Brayden Schenn is a bad even strength center. |

Bill said it. Ill trust him on that. And when that player is Claude Giroux, yes they do decide. |

Oh boy
I guess there is no point in having a coach. The players decide what goes. |

When the player is a -20, I don’t think you just let him do his own thing. - Djapana
From that article, I’m assuming he was trying to play the more traditional defensive game his coaches want him to play, but came to the realization that it doesn’t work for him. |

It’s been quite a day. A team managed to do some meaningful winning with Brayden Schenn and Gostisbehere is coming out and saying he’ll play anyway he wants. Doesn’t matter because the players decide what they do.
I was just thinking.
Sidney Crosby, Patrice Bergeron and Johnathon Toews should move themselves to wing. To avoid wear and tear and so they can have their best offensive seasons a year ago. |
