spoken as someone who has probably only seen him play 2-3 times....if ever.
he isn't GREAT defensively.....but he's an above average defender. he doesn't stand in front of the net and clear people out, but his positioning is exceptional, and he's almost always near the top of the league in takeaways.
people always just assume if you're a good puck mover, you suck defensively.....they never actually, you know, watch the player.

I agree, Karlsson is a great player. Reminds me of Kawhi Leonard in the NBA. Everyone said he was done after his quad injury and he came back incredibly strong. I expect the same result from Karlsson. Would love to see the Jets take a run at him.
