Age, within reason, doesn't concern me for 1 or 2 of the Dmen. Infact, having a steady-Eddy, defensively-aware veteran for Dahlin is what I'd be looking for, for the next 2-3 years.

It is more he's left side, which isn't their biggest need.

Not good. He peaked in 14-15. few solid years after, last two have been dreadful. Buyer beware .

I'd be really surprised if it was another FA signing. The argument for playing hard ball with Skinner would extend to guys like Lee and Duchene as well. They would all share similar concerns to varying degrees.

If you're walking away from skinner cause you don't like the term involved, you're probably going the trade route to try and buy low again. This time for someone on a cost controlled deal.

I had something similar to say ... had this big paragraph about how ridiculous that post was, because literally everyone on the planet likes Hasek. My post started getting angrier and angrier so I backed out and decided to go to bed instead. I feel better taking the high road.

There’s been 0 reports (that I know) of him wanting to wait until July 1. Zero reports that Skinner is considering other teams.

By some logic, I guess since the oilers suck so bad, mcdavid must be the problem and should be traded. Eichel is our best player, not sure it’s close I can’t undrstand the blame he gets. Let’s just blame the good players.

But when people are bored, any news makes things exciting. The media made it seem close in january, now they're 50/50. People will naturally react to that.
