What I'm hearing: Kessel at the moment is not leaning towards waiving his NTC to go to Minnesota but that doesn't mean it ultimately couldn't happen eventually. However, there are a few clubs on his 8-team YES list that have contacted Pittsburgh so we'll see where that goes...

Didn't watch him much but he slots into their #2 centre position and apparently plays a 200 foot game, if he can keep up the same production it's worth it.

If he's RFA he's probably looking at 4-5. You pay a premium for UFA, or give them a dirty third year.
