Nah, he let Hiller run the show and he had a bad PP/Penatly kill really for most of the year. I think he lets him run it on his own considering his track record. |

There was one time on the PP that Tavares was in front of the goalie but then he pushed back into the high slot, took a pass, and scored a goal.
That was a good play. Can't honestly remember another from the season on the PP. |

there was that one time, when Matthews skated from the right side of the ice to the left side of the ice and scored a goal.
Thankfully, they stopped moving Matthews around on the PP.. Don't need him scoring more, or in 5 years his contract will be yuuuge |

After that worked, they tried to do it a few more times. Didn't work 'cause teams immediately adjusted to it by simply having the defenseman move their stick to the middle of the ice. - GreatGigInTheSky
