Are Risto and Miller even, straight up?

Probably but if you are taking Callahan back he is negative value.

So, the opinion is, if the deal was one for one, Risto for Miller is a good deal for both?

Regardless of how they may switch up their lines, O’Reilly is the #1 Center on StL
He had 77pts to Schen’s 54pts
And Schenn has played mostly 2C or LW this season

Let the hate go
It’ll feel great

I have zero hate so you can re-read what I wrote. I like O'Reilly. I think he got tired of the operational and hockey inadequacies and forced the Sabres' trade hand.

Fact - O'Reilly was NOT elevating the Sabres
Fact - O'Reilly lost his love for the game, from his own voice
Fact - He was traded to a team that was apparently a goalie away from making a run because they were dead last until Binington showed up

Nice piece of the puzzle for a team that needed a piece.

Apparently there is a lot of speculation the Sabres are willing to take Ryan Callahan back in a deal.

So it would be what

Risto
for
Callahan
Young good Piece for taking Callahan back(Foote)
+ a JT Miller or something like that

Concept is good.
Personally, I am not real fond of JT Miller. He's not bad, just doesn't get me real excited.
I would have a hard time believing they would give up Foote as they need young, cost controlled Dmen. So I think maybe a young forward would be more like it for taking on Callahan's contract...so maybe Joseph.

Probably something along those lines
Hope we don’t get Miller though
Ok player, but he’s another pass first guy
Gourde or Cirelli would be a better fit imo
