I didn't get an NES Classic, though I might one day. Most of the games I wanted to play off that got rerelased on one form or another. I do have an SNES classic and a supaboy (basically a handheld SNES).
The retro scene has made buying NES games untenable. There are a bunch of games I would play that maybe I never did as a kid, but I'm not paying 10-20$ + for a cart. Yeah, I could play a emulator, but I'm a bit of a snob. I want the cart. - 2sticks1puck
I'm a snob too but the emulation on the Nintendo classics is perfection. Plus the controllers are dead on. Load the classic with roms and don't look back. I got a Playstation Classic for 35 that I haven't messed with yet.

From what I heard, with HD TVs the timing is a bit off. I haven’t really noticed it with the SNES, but I heard like Tyson is impossible for this reason.
USA Hockey announced its annual awards. Tri-City teammates Ronnie Attard and Isaiah Saville were named junior player and goalie of the year, respectively. Jack Hughes to receive Bob Johnson Award for international excellence, Adam Fox (NYR) was named college player of the year.

That might be a latency issue with some TVs. I will try it tonight, I don't recall having an issue though.

How is this possible when Makar won the Hobey Baker? Isn’t that exactly what the Hobey Baker Award is for?
This is only for American hockey players and it’s chosen by USA hockey. So Makar couldn’t win. Even if he could, they aren’t bound to vote for him - 2sticks1puck

I guess there could be more NHL regular dmen available but its kind of telling that Pionk didnt get invited back to the WC this year - mrn22
I think everybody expects Pionk to be a throw in on a larger deal
there are definitely too many defensemen here, perhaps the most intriguing part of the offseason after Kakko/Hughes is which defensemen stay and which go.
and, which defensemen go, that may actually be dictated by which defensemen other team's want, not necessarily the one's we wanna give away

I put trying to land Panirin a bit more intriguing then which defensemen leave
