You never saw real genius? wow
- mdw7413

Nope, I wasn't born yet when it came out.

Favorite 80's movies:

Better Off Dead
Ferris Bueller's Day Off
Terminator
Ghost Busters
Weird Science
Spaceballs
Top Gun
A Christmas Story
Tango and Cash

There's just way too many to see them all, and I feel like I have seen a lot.

I was looking at a list of 80's movies and I saw The Goonies on there. I haven't seen that one either and I almost refuse to because people keep trying to make me watch it.

I actually never saw that one until we watched it with my daughter this past winter. It actually held up pretty well for a family friendly comedy!

lol. Too true.

"You know what ol' Jack Burton says in a situation like this."
"Who?"
"ME!!"

lol. Probably not that funny to read it, but I love it! I recited that every time I saw a post from Tom the first couple of years I was on this site.

I'd guess he's more of a Josh Brolin type.

NES was great. I think we got one around 89-91. I was like maybe 5-6. Did you grab the NES classic? It is so cool modded with like 100+ games. I mostly finished Zelda recently.
- JRR1285

I didn't get an NES Classic, though I might one day. Most of the games I wanted to play off that got rerelased on one form or another. I do have an SNES classic and a supaboy (basically a handheld SNES).

The retro scene has made buying NES games untenable. There are a bunch of games I would play that maybe I never did as a kid, but I'm not paying 10-20$ + for a cart. Yeah, I could play a emulator, but I'm a bit of a snob. I want the cart.

I know. I get that a lot about that one. Some movies just slip by. I never saw the Sandlot either. Still hearing it about that, too.
I was probably busy trying to watch Porky's on the scrambled movie station!!

10-14 yr old me is a much better video game player than current me could ever dream of. I finished link to the past because I was a kid that played for hours on end and I guess I had better reflexes.
