if Great Britain wins this game, then they're in the tournament again next year. And France is relegated.

Iโ€™ve a serious question for the knowledgable fans here if i may.
The Canucks need many holes filled so who would you project at 10oa that would help us? Or do we trade down as an option? Thx

- Nighthawk

There's a lot of really good players to be had there. I would keep the pick.

I'd suggest going after Hughe Monguschlong out of Switzerland...Fills five holes all day, should be able to fill one of your holes too

You guys should trade Boeser to the Leafs for a pick to avoid cap problems before it's too late.
- Zezel

It's the Blues or Sharks year.

- RickJames77

At least if the Bruins win it I hope they win in six so the Leafs can say only they beat the champs three times.

Hope a few teams in front of you are idiots and Podkolzin falls into your lap.

The "experts" are saying that he's falling in the rankings. Every time I've watched him play, he looks great.

I'd take him as high as 5th or 6th. I think he'd be a great get at 10th.

Or if you want a d-man, Broberg will be there (maybe trade down a spot or two). And the Nucks have been drafting Swedes well, lately.

Kings will pass on him at #5. They took a risky pick two years ago in Vilardi and could possibly end up with a bust on their hands. At this stage, they need a low-risk player, even if his ceiling isn't as high.

Podkolzin is a high-risk, high-reward type player. Kings can't afford that type of risk right now. They'll go with Turcotte or Byram if either is available. If neither of those guys is still on the table, then they'll look at players like Cozens or Caufield. Dach is probably a better player than the latter two, but he's high risk as well due to his injury history.

Fair.

I was more saying where he ranks on my own rankings, though. Not for a team specifically and what their needs may be.

I target the AVโ€™s 16oa & the best chance to trade down & get a RHD there.

FYI Burnsy i started Leaf trade talk with Kapanen/Horton for what on our thread. Others chimed in with other ideas.
- Nighthawk

So you complain about Leaf fans in the Nucks thread, then come in here and do exactly the same thing.

Makes sense.

Considering BPA & need i have it as...

NJD Hughes by a whisker when he grows one
NYR Kakko & they luv it
Hawks Byram/Turcotte pick for need
AVโ€™s Turcotte if left or Caulfield
LAK Byram if there or Zegras
Wings Byram or leftover from above
Buffalo Boldy
Oilers Caulfield if there or leftover of above
Ducks Podkolzin
Canucks trade down if a deal is there
Philly BPA F
