You know what I find funny. If the pens had St Louis D core you guys would all blame sh it on them. But they just out played San Jose d core and I’m sure you guys wake up with sticky sheets over them.

Likely the only way JJ gets moved is if JR can find another deal like he did with Pearson for Gud. He likely wants to save face a bit so finding an underperforming forward to bring back would fit the bill.

I keep circling back to Loui Eriksson... I think he is due for a renaissance. That $6m may look tough to swallow but JJs 3.25 comes off the books. Who knows, maybe the Canucks want to get rid of him bad enough they eat a mil or so.

There is another player from the Canucks who fits the bill for a trade like this... ready for it... BRANDON MFING SUTTER. 4.25 for two or 3.25 for 4? I'll take my expensive ass 4c and hope he can stay healthy for two years...
