He is not looking to do what he use to do (GM Pres.) . He wants a team to buy into his skill that teams won't peak and then plummet . If a team buys into his theory and way they will always be at the peak.

Unlike what happened to Vancouver Chicago and LA his team will always be competitive and in the playoffs.

He says he has always been good at assessing talent.

So, he's been experimenting with bath salts too.

He found one dumb billionaire with a hockey team, what are the odds he finds another?

NHL talent but by his draft record clearly not junior talent.

At least the final is going to be a good physical series, looking forward to that.

Agree, his pro talent scouting was great, junior was terrible.

Two words

Ron

Delorme

Also, did you know his middle name was Elmer, and that his nickname wasn’t Delsey, or Deller, it was Chief.

True, it’s more on amateur scouting than him but he’s still the boss and should have made changes.

Delorme is native (I know you know), thus Chief, probably inappropriate in today’s world. Although I believe the Blues coach is nicknamed Chief too.

Did you know Alex Edler’s name is actually Ulf?

I could live with that.
We also could use more LW depth.

I can't, Van doesn't need another soft forward.

Just another guy that gives zero love to probably the best CHL team for churning out prospects ever the London Knights. Connor McMichael should be Van's at 10. (unless someone better drops) and he's not even on the guys list.
I would take everyone of these players at the 10 spot in any draft.

He's getting very little attention - seems strange, usually the London kids are always go to guys when the draft rolls around. I haven't watched much of him so i wonder if there's something flawed with his game that us commoners are not hearing about? He's pretty consistently ranked in the 20s

He is ranked normally in the mid 20's. I've read every scouting report I can find on him. I think the only thing that seems to be lacking is his strength which is pretty much most junior players.

They did say at the end of the season he was used less and less because London gave more minutes to the older players. 72 points in 67 games and not being high minutes is pretty damn good.

Everybody says his hockey IQ is so high. Very good skater, strong quick release, not afraid to go to the dirty areas. Defensively responsible. What more does a player need to do?

One scout said a similar style to Auston Matthews. To me his game mirrors Jaden Schwartz. Right place, right time, smart heads up player with no crazy one elite skill but above average all around skill.

Obviously goals and assists but the range of them, he's not an office guy. He scores from either wing, Head up to find an open man, not just blind passes.

I'd say LA with the 5th and 22nd pick have a great chance of landing Byram and McMichael - that would be a Canucks wet dream draft. It would be killer if we had a second mid 20s pick. If we could squeeze out TBs 27th pick in some sorta Callahan salary dump package deal that would be our only hope - draft a Dman at 10 and hope McM is still there at 27! WISHFUL THINKING
