I thought I read somewhere they will due to their elc players hitting bonuses. Talking about the Leafs, not Canucks

I don't think he knows.

(I have no idea. I didn't read your post, or the thread. i just wanted to post something.)

Sadly, all we have to look forward to this offseason is eating the poop sandwich Boston is about to serve us. That sandwich is much bigger for Leafs fans.

I honestly thought the Leafs were gonna beat Boston this year but TO needed another 'Muzzin' type dman and Anderson to be solid. Not to be.

True. Plus if Kelly Sutherland is allowed to Ref in the finals you may as well hand Boston the cup now. Would be great to see STL or SJ parade the cup around on Boston ice though...just depends if they get a fair shake in the finals vs Gary's boys.

I’m still holding out for jumbo to win a cup this year ...although with all the injuries maybe the blues are the better bet to beat the bruins

Always that possibility of course but I just can't see it he skates better than 2/3rds of the league already. Biggest concern would be how his small frame handles the injuries.
- LordHumungous

He seems like a guy who will put up decent points no matter what .. Stecher does decent for a small guy as far as injuries go

His luck continues.

On the PK, Ekholm spins and clears the puck from blue paint and it hits off of both of Loui's shin pads and back into his own net.

I could honestly care less about Thornton. but if SJ wins so be it. Blues have been in the league since 1967 and no cup would be great to see that happen. Really don't give a sh!t about the California clubs lol

You are right, Vancouver is going to trade down spots instead to get a RHD where he belongs to be taken and picking up another asset in the process

Negative. He's back out there for Sweden's 3-3 goal. Then on the next PK that they killed off and got scored on just after. Reviewing but 4-4

Ironic that half of the cheerleaders are closet Leaf fanboys. Just can't stop talking about them.

I know this is an oxymoron but I think I have seen him play and he is very noticeable

If it is the same person he is always mixed in the scrums and is a very talented player. If it is the same person he would be a good pick.

He has good moves and drives the net also.

Perpetual motion fireball of a wing with non stop speed, motion and intensity. Has terrific vision, compete level and seems to always come out of the high battle areas with the puck. Leading his junior team scoring by virtue of his skillful hands, his moves, and his abiilty to make successful passes in high traffic areas. His strong push on his wheels get him past defenders like he is bulling his way where he wants. Always moving in his low to ice stance, he dekes you, and makes time to thread the puck to an open teammate. Players like this are a nightmare to defend, and he still will score when double-covered. Displays a lightning-fast release. One of the best forwards in the Under-18 Five Nations tourney on a team filled with older players from the 2018 class.
Was once viewed as pretty near close to the late first rounder but things have cooled, although he still evokes memories of his energy laden gritty past performance. He is now apprehensive about contact and has disappeared in the battle areas. There is no question that he has skills as a guy who can play fast, make deft moves and display solid stick work and start out strong on the puck on his way down low, but has been prone to overhandles. Needs to use his line mates more ffectively.Have a good shot and release but isn’t hitting the open spaces on the net. There is enough there to warrant developmental time.
