Seems staffing changes are coming, not people coming and going, just the way things will be done in the offseason. My uncle's friend with the Sabres was told to report to work after his fishing trip. Usually the staff is off for the summer, certain things are changing. Don't know if they have to be there 5 days a week but they have to be there now. Was never like that before.

There is no way that the president of the operation is picking the stuff they give away for fan appreciation night, or approving the mold for the bobblehead. The president OKs the concept, and oversees coordination of all the teams that have input in the project, but Kim Pegula doesn't pick the gifts themselves any more than she writes the check to the vendor that sells them.

I have no clue what they do

my guess is act as a buffer between owner and gm, give gm a set of eyes and ears if needed

if it meant nothing, the leafs would not have lured shanny away from the nhl, and recently added 6 more years on his deal
