Hutton just doesn't move the dial for me. He played big minutes because of injuries but point totals didn't increase. He's not tough. He doesn't hit. What you see is what your getting and it isn't nearly enough. Two years max and if you can't deal him let him walk. If he's still playing twenty minutes a game in three years the Canucks will be in trouble

I’m still not sold on Willy. Still too soft of a perimeter player in the NHL. The big ice & lots of talent can fool ppl. Willing to be wrong til he shows up in the PO’s. At 7m he can prove me wrong.

not at all. Lee actually has some speed. Plays a physical game but now t as much as lucic. Lucic took sone years off his career banging around like that.

Nylander would compliment EP very well, be that missing winger for either of the top 2 lines imo.
However, i'm sure the Leafs could find better trading partners that Vancouver.

i'd offer Tanev, JV and Sven.
They need shut down D.
JV is a cheap winger that could play up and down the lineup and Sven (if healthy) could replace some of the scoring that Nylander would provide.

The 3rd wheel should be a compliment not one who does everything others won’t do. If i were a player I’d be pissed at a player getting 7m & have to make him look good picking up his slack. 3rd wheels don’t get nearly the money.

Some people are allergic to all things Toronto.
As I said, if they wanted to move Nylander, I think they could find much better offers outside of Vancouver.

JV is only 1.25m.
Why pay more for a guy who has Kessel as a comparable without Cups. Everybody knows what to expect from Kessel & Willy is gifted opportunity. Rather keep our own & any big trade is for a key need as in RHD.

Not all players have to be well rounded.
It' s like the complaints on here that Karlsson doesn't play D good enough.
If he's scoring 70pts and leading the PP and breakouts, It's ok if he's not Tanev imo
