This is why the rest of the hockey world thinks Canuck fans are idiots.

- 1970vintage

one could argue that your proposal was just as idiotic the 3rd this year is not as far from the 10th as in other years and Byram is a nice looking player , but no where near BoHo , Woo on top

What do you honestly think it would take for Chicago to move back to 10?
- 1970vintage

Good question. Really depends on how highly they view Byram. If they view him as highly as we do? Probably 10-madden—Juolevi-2nd? That’s a tough question full of variables

Edit: a proven, young, cost controlled 2C is too
Much Vintsy

Double edit. CHI has to think Juolevi isn’t a bust. That’s precisely why these trade almost never happen. Too many variables

Benning already told Kuzma it won't happen

10oa/OJ my best offer
Rather trade down tbh
Pick either of Soderstrom or Seider but i like York as well. Broberg i’m undecided on. I figure the 2nd round is where to find some good talent. Get more 2nds from trades.

You’d have to take back that ridiculous d mans contract from them and add the 10 pick, virtanen and OJ. As a possible start. They’d probably want next years first too. Fack that.

I posted these same 2 players a couple months back.
Both would be fine picks.

The question was posed as how high would you go? Basically if they asked for an additional 5th you wouldn’t say ok, because obviously, that offer wasn’t as high as you go. I already said I wouldn’t be willing to do this as I don’t see Byram as a “foundational” or “generational” pick.

Curious to see how high you think Benning would go. Your offer was 10th, a former 5th overall, last year’s 3rd (who had a great draft +1 season) and a second. That’s 2 firsts, a second and a third. That’s a steep price!

The drop off after Byram is “apparently” uge. But seriously, Gaudette... everyone has a third line C.

The D needs to change.
No more Hutts.

Plan:
Resign Edler 2 years x $.
Trade Tanev, Sven for something, along with Hutton, Goldobin, Granlund for anything.
Eriksson is a ? Bury him if you can, or let him ride the bench until injury time.
Sign Myers and a top 6 F if we can't trade for one - e.g. Anders Lee, Brock Nelson, Michael Ferland.

Trade Edler in 2 years at TDL.

I think you'll get your wishes

Except Goldy has no value, they might just let him go or trade him for some random career AHL'er that Benning used to be high on 4-5 years ago. And Hutton I think they'll sign and then eventually trade, whether it's this summer or during the season.

He was drafted 2 years ago, by Vegas, then traded to Canadiens in the Pacioretty deal.

I know who he means, but he has the 2 mixed up. Ryan's team wasn't in playoffs and Nick is having a very good run with the Guelph Storm.
