You can simultaneously love the hire and be skeptical of the on ice results. No one says a bad thing about the guy. Oilers fans and players both admit that it was a mistake to fire him. When was the last time you saw fans supporting an axed coach? Teddy Nolan 20 some odd years ago? It's a rarity.
