Ladd is the mistake IK but spezza fills a need and is an upgrade to filppula at 3c. Not as good defensively but can score more.

They should resign Nelson but I think panarin is the guy they want. Toews pulock barzal need to be resigned after next year and won't be cheap. They will need a 3c with cizikas at 4c and dont have a center in the system ready to step in. If they can get duchene and panarin well that would be great and also a miricle. Spezza had a down year but he could still fit in well if they let filppula walk

I'm well aware but do you think we will get both? That would put us in a tough spot to sign toews pulock and barzal. I suppose for them you let one of the other 3 walk, I just dont think we are going to get either one. Duchene i think will end up in Nashville panarin I think we have a shot at but they are going to have to throw tavares money at him. For the record I'm ok if they get him for 7 years 11 million he would be great with barzal

When I see how these FA signing pan out, it's not the worst thing the Isles are not a destination. I'm still a fan of building through the draft and trades.

Watching Bs / Canes series, amazing how bad canes look. The Staal line was son noticeable and dominant against us, can’t even tell they’re on the ice most of the time....they’ll prob score now but wtf do I care. 👍😂

I wonder how close Otto could be in challenging for a spot? I still think Nelson is best as 3C but you bring in someone like Panarin and Nelson can work as 2C.

It's certainly odd considering that before this year it didn't happen since 93. Then again never before have all 4 division winners been bounced in round 1. Sharks have been gifted a series and a game this post season too
