I totally agree. Regarding the constitution. Portions of it are grossly outdated.

It’s like the old growth forest protesters on the west coast. What they’re doing is illegal when they block law abiding citizens from freely traveling down public roads, it’s clearly against the laws that are in place but they were rarely arrested. Until recently. As people are getting fed up with the liberal coddling of people who are clearly breaking the law while their lives are disrupted. Someone died in an ambulance recently because they couldn’t get through. They should be charged.

The Iranian student who’s leading the protesters is on a student visa that stipulates he not get into trouble with the law yet he’s been arrested something like nine times and charged a few times. It’s bullpoop! Deport that mother(frank)er!! Canada is one of the most bureaucratic inefficient wealthy nations on earth.

There’s a lot of great things about both nations but there’s also a lot of BS with both nations.

I think the underlined is misguided as it wasn't the liberals coddling in Ottawa earlier this year.

The thing about trees is they can't cry for help themselves, somebody has to do it. When I see what the Irving family takes from our province compared to what they give it sickens me. Even worse is that the government was scared by the Irvings threats to move out of the province. Like nobody else will step into the holdings you have.

I fully support section 2C under the charter of rights and freedoms, the right to LAWFULLY assemble and protest is a fundamental democratic right. However. I don’t support the disrespect and disruption to the lives of law abiding citizens. Their rights are just as important!!

I guess it would be inappropriate to suggest this is a good time to open a coat hanger factory?

I agree completely.

Blocking an ambulance is insane.

My daughter will be 14 this year. I can't imagine her being pregnant even though she's fully able. Then there's the addicts, rape victims, just people in a really bad spot to raise a child. The ruling is disheartening.

There are still many states where you can get an abortion in the US and even where it’s prohibited there are provisions to allow it to save the life of the mother or from rape, that said, America is hugely divided on this issue due to religion and the extreme right political views. The gap is large between the political groups and its widening by the days. America is increasingly becoming ungovernable. In the next 25 years I suspect the dissolution of their union.

The real issue is that there are 2 major political parties serving nearly 350M people. They're both so established that it prevents other parties from starting up and succeeding. Therefore, it falls under two umbrellas.

The United States of America is the worst. It’s the worst country in the world. It’s full of the worst people, with the worst morals, the worst leader. The constitution is an idiotic document that the worst people in the world base their entire lives upon. “Make America Great Again”? Bullpoop, it’s never been great to begin with.

The US makes Burma look like Disneyland.

The only difference is that they “look like us”, so it’s ok.

I don't think so, i've spent enough time there to know what's going on.

Much of my time was living street side, meeting real americans. There's no doubt that the country has issues.

The US makes one of the poorest countries in Asia look like disneyland. We only accept it because they look like us.

That's some solid game.

Yet didn't let them have any gun control the day before. They contradicted themselves based on a 230 year old document, saying they weren't aware of any other amendments having restrictions.

The amendment needs amending.

No man... from the NYT:

"There are no allowances for victims of rape or incest in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Kentucky, Louisiana, Missouri, Oklahoma, Ohio, South Dakota, Tennessee or Texas. Mississippi, whose law banning abortion after 15 weeks is at the center of the case the Supreme Court will rule on this month, permits an abortion in cases of rape but does not specify incest."

We’ll see how it plays out but you’re talking about something that hasn’t happened yet. Hopefully common sense prevails and if it doesn’t those people get voted out of office like Biden said today.

A lot of these states have trigger laws – nothing needs to happen or be voted on for them to be signed in. It's like a train flying down the tracks towards a car stopped on the rails – sure, it hasn't hit it yet, but 'common sense' tells you there's an imminent collision.

Also, this notion that "there are still many States to get an abortion, people can just travel" is poop. Sure, wealthy people can travel, but not likely poor people. It's forcing poor (mostly POC) people who more than likely can't afford kids to have kids. With no healthcare, no parental leave, no child support, no free school lunches, etc etc.

There's a really great John Oliver about this:

Also a very well written, sad, scary look at a post-Roe world in today's surveillance capable climate and the criminalization of abortions

But yet clowns like you will do nothing to change it. Just yammer on your couch in a defeated little pose expecting big things without consequences. Gotta break a few eggs to make an omelette bud. With the current crop of leftists and indoctrinated ideologies destroying the continent at least you'll have the opportunity to pull the racist card many times champ. Keep on keeping on...
