I should be free to water ski. Trudope's oppressive agenda and fake news fires just trying to hold you down.

Please. I've come to realize some people aren't very bright in these threads, I just shouldn't engage in some conversations.

Please just don't lump all the skeptics into that same basket, we're not all totally deaf.

I'm thinking about buying a system such as PS5, XBox, Switch as a gift. Which one you cats think? What's the best?

You're right.

There's absolutely nothing to be gained from engaging some people. Without hockey this hockey site gets worse and worse.

Xbox, with their monthly program you get access to most of the games right away.

Older? I mean if he already has an xbox or ps4 the upgrade isn't necessary right away. If he's younger a switch might be better regardless.

As for Xbox vs ps5 I'll likely get the sony when the time comes.

If he plays one or the other, stick with the one he's playing. For next Gen systems, grab whatever you can find due to the shortage.

You are going to get a lot of different answers...

I’d go with X-box personally. Greater game selection and Microsoft software is used to build most of the code so some say games run better on X-box consoles. Plus it’s cheaper than PS5.

But you won’t go wrong with either system.

That's what folks were saying the last launch.

To me, I like to let the systems debug and get more storage before I buy it. Also by that point one system usually steps up a bit.

I bought the switch this year for the kids, we already have a PS4, Xbox and nintendo classic.

I get bored at home, I don’t watch much TV, but I contemplated buying a gaming system. Don’t have a clue as what to buy, tried to research both the Xbox and Play Station but they come out pretty equal. And I have no intentions of joining any group play...I’m a hermit, and really enjoy being so.

What would your recommendation be, also where do you buy these systems, Best Buy doesn’t seem to have any stock.

If you could get a used PS4/Xbox in the new year with a pile of games i'd try that. You might even be able to get some good deals on it now.

How long has it been since you played vids?

Maybe something classic might be more up your alley but games have come a long ways in the past decade.

I remember a game called Doom in the early 90s.

These days, people buy many of their games online. Or there are free ones out there.

However, there should be game systems with 30+ titles for an xbox o ps4 for less than the cost of a new console.

I think you might like the uncharted series as an example, maybe 007, rainbow six. All kinds of games, then there are sports games. At this stage i'd focus more on trying it out rather than going next generation. If you like it, it will still be there.

Also, you can play games online vs randoms without talking to them if you want a human element.

If you're just wanting to be a hermit, get an Xbox with game pass, you get most of the games and all the old games included, good for a new timer.

They're both pretty much the same this generation.

I trust you have spoken to the mean people and that is why you have time to inquire about gaming consoles?

You need to come at me harder than that captain Makita, you're bringing a knife to a gun fight. Ha-Ha...in all seriousness, you know I just try to rile the troops up most of the time with my nonsense.

I don't think anyone takes it too serious, except Vantel on occasion and of course Booner, his sole purpose is to discredit anything I type, which is cute....rent free in his head 24/7
