Personally I’m looking forward to the province of Alberta try to take on seceding from Canada against the wishes of the 1st nations who actually have a treaty (well if I understand correctly 3 treaties) that allow Alberta to have a province.

What’s the province planning to do about the 1st nations claim Oildrum, honestly curious what your opinion on this issue is?

I am also, but I agree with A_SL, he spouts about Danielle but I haven’t read or heard anyone talk about recognizing the rights the 1st nations claim to own through treaties.

Grow some balls Oildrum, answer the question.

Honestly, I don't know much about that. I also am not cheering for Alberta to separate. I just want the economy and the people of Canada to prosper, which is not happening right now.

These goofs on here parroting Nazi this and Nazi that are just morons. As soon as anyone says anything negative about the Liberals that's all they've got. I'm not racist at all, but they sure seem to have a lot of hate.

You conveniently evaded Makita's question with an I don't know. Pretending to not know or care about someone else's rights while crying about your rights is ironic.
You call Liberals communists and socialist dictators but cry when your authoritarian party is labelled as fascists.
If Albertans believed in green energy you could harvest your provinces tears into a reliable hydro energy project.

Go give Lordy a big hug.

You guys that think a new government can turn it around in a hot minute are hilarious. My teenaged daughter hasn't even been paid from working the election yet and you're expecting results.

Alberta is much more likely to join the US than it is to separate with any other provinces or parts of. I think you'd see provincial borders redrawn before you see international ones doing the same.

It's funny how you hate the Nazi label but endorse and anti-liberal label.

Danielle Smith freezing Carbon pricing in Alberta immediately and indefinitely.

Finally another person in this country with some (frank)ing brains. Somebody needs to stop this economic self destructing freefall our country is in and I don't think Trudeau 2.0 will be the one. Inflation madness.

Homelessness is at an all time high. People in record numbers at food banks. No first time home buyers can afford a new home anymore. Groceries and gas increasing in price. All thanks to 10 years of Liberals.

Yes, let's destroy the people of Canada in the name of going green.

Sakatchewan recently scrapped their Industrial Carbon tax completely. (frank)head here in BC probably won't do it though.

Looks like I’m late to the party.

I agree that Canadians need less tax. Can’t argue with you there, but we need some mechanism to punish polluters.

Alberta taxpayers are spending huge dollars on clean up costs. Alberta's oil and gas industry alone has amassed $60 billion in cleanup liabilities, but companies have contributed just 3% to that cost. Guess who picks up the rest?

Hell, even Canadian taxpayers outside of Alberta contribute over $600 million per year through Federally funded Alberta oil and gas rehabilitation programs.

I don’t trust big oil and it surprises me when I see people like you defending these unscrupulous trillion dollar companies who don’t mind killing a few of us for bigger profits. It’s just weird.

I see that we are finally getting traction on free trade amongst Provinces. Alberta and Saskatchewan signed agreements with Ontario on Sunday to remove trade barriers.

https://www.ctvnews.ca/po...d-of-meeting-with-carney/

The fact that Alberta has agreed to deals with Ontario is a great sign that Canada as a whole is doing everything it can to eliminate the threats from the US. The article quotes “$200 billion in economic gains”. God I hope these politicians get it done.
