He's a big part of it, but it's more than that. They're killing it in all phases. The B's PK is impressive. Canes are lucky to get one or two good looks on the PP....and Rask makes it look easy when they do.

The canes have dominated quite a bit of play. Rask has been the difference-maker IMO.

That's less about the Bruins PK and more the Canes PP which has been awful all year long.

The Pens should probably have the best PP in the league and go through periods over the years where it plain sucks.

Brind'amour's been in charge of the PP since like 2013.

It's been terrible, and he has this thing about sticking with his original plans and trying to make them work. Hasn't had a real personnel change on the first unit since the first game of the season.

When I reflect on this past season there were an awful lot of nights they won because Murray or DeSmith stood on their head. I really think they're the main reason the Pens made the playoffs plus Sid of course.

Hot goaltending absolutely is the main reason the Pens made it in.

The Pens game never really changed although there were flashes of the 15/16 style of play. When you have the weapons the Pens have they will strike at some point and they did it when the goaltending showed up.
