Bowen Byram: “I don’t think in normal society ‘love’ is a word that’s thrown around by guys very often. I truly love every guy in that locker-room. That’s what happens when you’re together every day battling.” - DarthKane
Nice little article and Byram sounds like a good locker room guy. |

Stick a fork in the Canes. - I Am The Breadman
Yes. Too bad, I thought this series would be much more entertaining. |

Yup. They just don't seem to take care of the puck, especially in the offensive end, very well. Too many weak passes and seldom any net front presence. Second chances off of rebounds are non-existent. Hard to beat Rask when he's on the way they play. |

did not see the game but from the stats...it looks like the canes came out flying in desperation mode but could not convert and that usually ends up with a loss...
tough one to lose...
rask is going to carry the bruins to the cup...

Carol Burnett Show & Coach & the memorable voice of Barnacle Boy. Sad to hear. RIP. - I Am The Breadman
Sad to say that Barnacle Boy is the only reason my kids know who he is. |

As long as he has a space in everyone's heart, regardless of show/character, I see no problem in that. |

IMO it is way too early to give up on Boqvist. He had a good season for London and it seems the Hawks have a lot of confidence in him. The Hawks have some young Dmen, but the best approach is to keep the irons in the fire until they get closer to the NHL and if you have too many NHL ready dmen, you trade them then when their value is that much higher. An NHL ready Boqvist will bring a lot more to the Hawks than 2018 draftee prospect that may still be 1 or 2 years away. Hawks are going to need to keep infusing more young/cheap dmen over the course the next few years and some of them may still need 1,2,3+ years to develop. - breadbag
Whomeber suggests that Biqvist be traded is nuts. Thus prospect has not failed in any way. We should be enciuraged actualky when Campbell lends advice and instruction in the seadon ahead. What happens here on thus board is someone just gets excuted about the latest flavir prospect and decides part if the grand plan is to traxe Boqvist. Simply p ut you vannot tradr a special takent like him. You patiently wait during his development. In fact let us see how much better he looks in the exhibitiin this season compared to last year. We should be glad to have him. |

Hawks 2022/23 defensive lineup:
Byram-Boqvist
Beaudin-Jokiharju
Keith-Mitchell
- EbonyRaptor
I could imagine two changes and the first is they never draft Byram. The second is that either Mitchell or Beaudun is traded. Carlsson and Gilbert would add a nice balancing act to that defense as replacements. |

The good news is that no matter what, the Hawks are going to either get a really good Center or Dman with the #3 pick! - frafra

Is that Marcus Krueger’s dad that just became the new Buffalo sabers coach? If so it’s a good bet to where he’s going next. |

Ha. That's not his dad.
Ralph is German (and Canadian). Marcus' dad is Peter and they are Swedish. |
