Lets put it this way. Ruff had 16 years to accomplish something.
He failed.
We don't need him.
Bring him in as an Ops guy, but not a HC

He's the wild card. Yzerman might be tempted but I think he'll go 11-15. |

No more ex Sabres coming back. If anything, a front office job would be fine. I want some new blood behind the bench- Keefe. |

In those 16 years ruff had to work his own Magic because ownership wouldn’t help him correct????? He finally has a team that’s not trying to tank but win and he can get players he wants not players like Raffi Torres etc |

Can you imagine Makar/Byram as their #1 d pair for the next 10 years? Yikes. That was my theory behind the Byram pick. |

I would. But would Colorado? I would think they would pass. Byram in our D group would be sweet though. |

Caufield is Skinner 2.0. I think he’ll be a great hockey player but two way play wins in the playoffs. I think Boldy would be perfect on Jacks wing, size and two way ability. I think anyone could skate on Jacks wing and pop 20+ goals in a season but not many prospects have exhibited the play in all 3 zones that Boldy has. If the draft fell the way MHP mentioned then I’d hope we take Boldy or Krebs. |

That does sound nice, but I can also see Mackinnon-Dach/Cozens-Compher as their top 3 Centre core for the next 10-15 years as well. Girard looks to be quite the player and they still have Timmins in the pipeline as well (Big LHD). |
