I’m looking at Ghost’s contract for the next four seasons and his production next to the likes of PK Subban and Erik Karlsson, in a down year for all three. I wouldn’t even entertain moving Ghost. With this said, for those who laugh at the idea of Ghost on the third pair at even strength. That is exactly what I would do, with PP time.

Provorov had a down first half but he’s your number one ice time eater. Gudas had a solid season. Sanheim had made nothing but positive steps forward. Outside of his passing, Hagg remains steady in his own end. Myers is only going to get better. I’m not trading anyone not named MacDonald until we see exactly what Morin can do.

I don’t know about the rest of you but I’m excited for change. I just hope Fletcher doesn’t let me down, I wanna see some moves.

I think we’ve gotten a lot of change. Simmonds is gone. Patrick, Konecny, Provorov, Sanheim and Hart are all new young players. We have a brand spanking new coaching staff. I’m not understanding the re-signing Raffl and I’m still trying to figure what Laughton is to us.

Unless you mean new stars, if you want Giroux to retire here and Couturier to continue to grow here, this is what you put up with. I don’t think you’re getting another team’s star through trade and I’m not sure what Jake Voracek brings you back. If JKe pot at least 30 a year, I think teams would line up but he doesn’t.

For the record, I would take Simmonds back in a bottom six role and it would depend on his price tag because he does bring grit and leadership.

There is a case to not add a D. Of Morin shows to be an NHL DMAN, then you can rotate him in when needed. It would also require a ghost bounce back and improvement from each D, I think Myers would have to show a lot more

One poster suggested Coburn, I think he resigns in Tampa, if Tampa if they want him, if not I think he would look at philly again. I do think he would be a good example for the young D. With his size I think he would really help Myers and Morin , I think they’ll be able to relate with him. Myers reminds me of Coburn somewhat

They are very top heavy. They need depth and could improve the talent on the defensive end. MacKinnon playing like one the top players in the world was a big reason for their playoff run. Roster is still very flawed even with 4th overall.
