Yea 40 goals is so easy to replace. It’s like we are always saying, “I can’t believe how easy it is to find wingers for Eichel. I mean they did it with Okposo, Moulson, Sheary, etc etc.

Don't fret.

We have a top line center, one of the best defensive prospects in the league and some help on the way from the minors. Are we going to be good next year? No. We are still trending upwards.

Gronborg, Keefe, Tip. There are still options out there, even if Tip goes to the Oil Slicks.

This would be a big win...I think.

Don't worrrrrrrry so much. The writing is on the wall imo. Botterill and Grönborg will leave the WC with a contract. I'm fairly certain of it

I never said it could be easy but VO is a unknown factor he could be one of those players that just light it up and just hit 30 his first year

I like skinner a lot but he’s not worth 9-9.5 if he was a center like Matt Duchene then sure

I agree. It feels like this team spends the last 30 games of every year disengaged. More motivation wouldn't require more skill. Greater execution during the first half of the season would keep us in the hunt later in the year.

I realize that dahlin was 17 at the Olympics, but was used sparingly. Now Gronburg couldn't really explain why dahlin didnt join them for the iih tournament?

Sounds like a little pouting or friction.

Hopefully dahlin is just tired from a long year.

Could have been a match penalty, however there is no provision for a major or a game misconduct. Not sure on the difference between a match penalty and a game misconduct. I would think that there will be a one game suspension since they announced he will be getting a phone call from DOPS. Looking at it in slow-mo it appears that the initial contact is the elbow to the chest and then the shoulder hits high. Anderson did turn at the last second too, otherwise it would have been shoulder on shoulder. Seeing their interaction in the handshake line, it didn't seem Anderson had any ill will towards McAvoy.

I wouldn't read into it further than this, personally. Maybe he has a minor nagging ailment, or maybe he's just tired. I remember Eichel saying he was wiped out after his rookie year. He's been going non-stop for a year

That's what I'm hoping, but coach beard acted like he wasnt sure why dahlin wasnt joining them.
