Ya I was being sarcastic. I just don’t want Nylanders contract regardless of the price

We agree on something. Wouldn’t touch Nyley with a 10’ pole. Only way I would do that deal is if it was for Eriksson straight up. And even then, the Leaves would need to add a pick.

Oh man, I just looked at the Booner V Bloated V Golfing V Marwood thread. Just one question, What the F’ing F?

Also, I’m over Nylander. I would rather just keep Jake.

How can I find these threads? Also, I almost agree regarding Jake. I don’t like him, but on a production per $ ratio he is currently better than Nylander. Will be interesting to watch Virt, Nylander and Ehlers over the years

Schneider got the 9th overall, as a reminder. He was also considered one of the best young goalies in the game at the time.

https://prospectpipeline....hl-draft-scouting-report/
Future Potential:
Ultimately, McMichael could be one of the most under-appreciated players eligible for the 2019 NHL Draft.
Although many have projected McMichael to be chosen in the middle of the first round if not later, we could very well be looking at a top-10 choice come draft day given McMichael’s torrent production and continued improvement on the ice. With all of the skills which NHL franchises covet at the young age of just 18-years, McMichael could prove to be a steal if selected much earlier than anticipated.

https://lastwordonhockey....cmichael-scouting-report/
McMichael may not have the upside to be a true franchise centre at the NHL level. However, he is very well-rounded. If he develops correctly, he could become a second-line centre, capable of bringing offence and also playing against the opponent’s top lines. His strong defensive play and penalty killing instincts will endear him to coaches. McMichael’s game resembles Auston Matthews, however, this is a style comparison only and is not based on talent or ability.

https://thehockeywriters....l-draft-prospect-profile/

McMichael leads the top tier London Knights in points and drives the play on a consistent basis, reminding me of Auston Matthews because he loves to rove around the hash marks and unleash his shot. One of his biggest assets is how the puck always seems to find his stick. He has a knack for knowing how to be in the right place at the right time which is an elite skill that is found in many top players at the NHL level.” – Marcus Griep/Dobber Prospects

I had him at 10 in my rankings and have now moved him to 8oa. Ahead of Newhook and Zegras.

Kills penalties, strong defensive play, high hockey IQ, forechecks, skates well. I would take another Bo Horvat with a little more offensive upside at 10 everyday of the week and twice on Sundays.

Going to be a fun draft — I expect a lot of movement on everyone’s boards, and a few teams to “reach” and throw it all into chaos. A lot of people are going to get very upset when their team passes up “their” guy that dropped

Funny how those things work. Glad we got Horvat obviously bit I was always curious to see how Schneider would have done here after Loowingo left. Melanson really had Corey dialed in at one point and Corey was very receptive to Melanson's traing where Lou wasn't. Just always wondered that...

Under the section called “boards”. I’m sure there is lots of poop you could thrash in...

Re Virtsey: I’m at the point where I would rather fail with “our” youth than try to succeed with somebody else’s. This is the bed JB has made, let’s sleep on it a while and see how it feels. Now, veteran players... you could fire them out of a cannon into the sun for all I care.

I heard Corey had anxiety issues despite his stoic look and how well he handled the media. Might be in part of why his was moved and not Luo. I think its playing a big part in his current struggles. Anxiety sucks.(I might be way off base here as well.)

I used to have issues with it as well but after a life altering event I realized most of the $hit that got me so stressed really doesn't matter.

Ya how true is that.

I never knew he was struggling with anxiety and if that was the case would make a bit of sense.

Bloated is confusing the day you and him were talking about meeting somewhere to fight with the day I scolded Lefty for his personal shots 6 weeks earlier. He's all over the place...

I feel there's a difference between anxiety/stress and actual mental disorders like GAD and OCD.

I have OCD with certain things, and dealing with anxiety is a part of my life. Could easily understand how it would effect a top athlete, I know it got in the way of me playing high level soccer at points.

Who you got in game 7 tonight? San Jose Sharks or Colorado Avalanche.

I've got Sharks because they are supposed to beat Boston in the finals.

A lot of mental struggles are due to chemical imbalances in the brain. It gets to the point of a disorder when production is completely inhibited or your body starts reacting the wrong way to certain situations imo.

The thing is within the normal spectrum there's a pretty wide range of how much those imbalances can affect you so people have different standards for what they consider a true mental problem.

I'd like to see the Avs do it, we are kind of where they were 2 years ago. It would be nice to see the light after all this darkness.

Just have to trade one of your top 6 centres to Ottawa for a top 5 pick and you’ll be right on track 😉
