Just draft Lavoie, he is a top 6 forward that can play centre.
- Reubenkincade

His playoffs have been impressive but he's also one of the oldest players in the draft and also one of the most physically developed. I think he's a great pick a bit later but would be disappointed if we took him at 10.

There is going to be some very good, high skill forwards still available at 10 and I don't mean the midgets.

OJ will be fine , not norris level but fine nonetheless, without comparing him to Tckachuck or Sergachev ,he is on a decent development curve who could pay dividends this season for a young D-man

Not sure if you have watched much of Sergachev, but he is horrible at defending. I have higher hopes for Juolevi than that.

that's my point , OJ is getting a lot of hate for being injured , in time i think he'll be way better then Sergachev

he was a big factor in TB getting swept, terrible coverage and turnovers , he is young , so there is some forgiveness there , but I still think OJ was the best D choice

he'll be fine Vantel, he's an offensive D-man , who's D is sometimes offensive but his skill translates and given the right minutes will be a plus guy

and him being so cocky , these set-backs might be the best thing to have happened, a little humble pie and some hard reality might prove beneficial in the long run

I won't be very happy, if the select another midget/lightweight.
Skill is nice, but they still need some size with speed, as these playoffs are showing.

Lavoie is yes. He has skill speed and size, plays wing and centre.
Been following him for 2 seasons now, a very nice hockey player. IMO.
I was refering to the comment from Belcher about the midgets, which I always get a kick out of, as I am 5'5 and have only liked a few midgets in the nhl.

if the Nucks pass on Caufield at 10 , it will make me wonder about the scouts ability to select the top talent

It's a shame he's turning out to be the management version of JV.

Drafting a pure scorer would be nice. We have enough guys in the "2 way forward" mold

If they select him I won't make it to 50 years of being a Canucks fan.

I want a cup before I pass on, I am not seeing that with a bunch of flyweights and midgets being put into the organization.

I don't think this team will challenge for a cup again under this owner.

I agree, but at 10 they need to be more than just the biggest/oldest IMO.

Both Dach and Cozens would be great at 10 but doubt either will be there.

There should be a number of bigger wingers available at 40 and 71.
Afanasyev, Beecher, Leason, Grewe, Pinto, William's, Kallionkieli and many more.
