It’s definitely given, but I think some people around here aren’t happy unless you’re scoring every game, i.e. Connor Sheary - Rinosaur
You know. |

He put up 22 points in his first 43 games with the Pens. He just got snake bit like a mufugga the next season. His apples were still consistent. His shooting percentage just dropped to a measly 4.2 when he’s used to shooting around 8-9. - j.boyd919
He just wasn’t good enough for a 1st line player. He just showed he was 3rd line material while in Pittsburgh. |

Sheary’s problem was that he fell too much to the ice. He was @ an alright price for what he brought as the 3rd wheel on his line. |

Meh Sheary falls all the time and it makes him appear much worse than he is. |

Has it been determined where we are picking this year if the old man doesn't trade it? |

Sheary became massively overrated when JR traded him to Buffalo. Only because there is a group of fans (and bloggers) who want to rip every move the guy makes.
Sheary was never more than a 3rd line at best and his performance in Buf displays that. Numbers looked great with Crosby, not so much with anyone else. |

Side question: Of all players in the history of the NHL/Penguins, why did you pick the biggest clown as your username? |

The Pens are keeping it and you might actually see them get another depending on what they do with trades. |

This isn’t wrong. Some people know that just because he falls that doesn’t make him a bad player or useless, but lots of fans used it as a huge reason for disliking him. If you say otherwise then you likely have a selective memory or you don’t read comments much
I think we were all fine with moving on from Sheary because we moved on from Hunwick too and we all felt that with the new cap space we would move forward. And then we signed JJ |

With the exception of skating, shooting, passing, and positioning, JJ is proficient in most areas of professional ice hockey. |

Wouldn't it be higher because they were the first team eliminated? I thought it was first team out gets the 1st non-lotto pick which would be the 16th.
I'm probably wrong. |

Nah. Goes by regular season finish in terms of points. Only 4 teams that go to the end are the conference finalists. |

It was more than falling down. It was his 2 goals in his last 42 playoff games that bothered me. Butchering grade A chances with regularity. When teams play him tight, he's pretty f'n ineffective.
Trading those two and clearing space was brilliant, until (like you say) JR puked on himself.
Edit... If JR dumped those two and signed Dehaan like he should have, nobody would remember lil' Sharry's name. |
