His contract pays him $5.16M for the ages of 28-33, as he turns 28 in December, and he's scored 25 and 22 goals the last 2 years.

If you think he's the 64 point player, than fine, but if he's the 48 point ancillary player from this past season, that's not a great deal for the Lightning with their cap situation.

- kingcong39

Idk man, his production is ridiculously good for a guy playing 15 minutes a night

Pretty sure you’re correct

As for your response this morning,
you missed my point

You can’t count the Cap Space we gained as an asset, bc we need to use that to replace what we lost
Therefor it isn’t Cap Space actually “gained” over what we previously had
*unless we find a 2C and goal scoring winger for cheap... bit what are the odds of that?

- jdfitz77

Are we a better team with ROR though or Hayes/Nelson, Thompson, 1st rounder ?

He's not, at all. I've been arguing with J Crag about wanting him in a trade for weeks now 😄😅

Oh, gotcha! Lol

I would too. I understand you have to make the playoffs to have a chance but the Canes have been building towards this season for the past 5 years. Solid drafting and smart trades and are peaking at the right time.
- Pegullaville

Yeah, but you don't get to just say 5 years, they've sucked forever and made moves like Sutter(whatever), Dumolin, and 8oa for Jordan Staal. They've been "going for it" since 2012.

Sure, but his team scored roughly 47,000 goals.

Re-sign skinner

Sign Eberle

Risto and a 2nd for Cirelli, Gourde and Callahan

Cut bait with Okposo using the late first. Send Bogo to DJ heaven (fla)- retain up to $2m and give the Blues 2021 2nd if necessary.

Do some other things with the defense (???????)

Profit

CLOSE!

IMO, forget Eberle.

And I don't believe Risto will yield Gourde and Cirelli, even with taking on Callahan...but go for it, if you can get it, GREAT.
How about Cirelli, Joseph, Callahan as a back-up plan.

Then, turnaround and trade Nelson and Cirelli to LVGN for Karlson and Colin White.

VO - Eichel Tower - Samson
Skinner - Karlson - they still need somebody
Sheary - Mitts - Joseph
Okposo - ERod - Callahan
Somevobtkaplease

Dahlin - White
McCabe - Montour
Pilut - Bogo / or get a FA if you ship Bogo to DJ land
Scandellous

I like it.
This GM thing is easy-peasy

Normally I would have said Hayes, but 4/5 people here don't like that idea

We take a poop contract, a player Tampa fans want to get rid of (gourde) and a 3rd line center for a 2nd an risto? Hard pass.
- Mentalorgasm5

You must be watching the Bolts in an Alternative Universe.

Gourde plays great, high energy, in-your face, and can score. Age is more of the factor there.
Cirelli is 21 with 100 games under his belt and puting-up 39 pts already and will be ready for 2C in the next year or so. He is an up-commer....look at his advanced stats.

Interesting when I proposed
Risto and McCabe
for
Cirelli, Joseph, and Callahan
the posters on both teams pissed and moaned about not getting enough value...which tells me I was close.

What makes him a great deal for us, then?
- Powerslave

In regard to Yanni Gourde...
I'd take him in a second.
50 pt, high energy guy who plays the game the right way..he would be a fan favorite.

Man that Don Cherry is a (frank)ing idiot.

I hate the Hurricanes because of 2006.

But he sits here calling them a bunch of jerks and he's wearing a (frank)ing Star Wars suit female doging about the Kentucky Derby and he can't even form a complete or coherent sentence.

Good god man, and some of us are saying RJ is getting bad. He's just (frank)ing drunk lol

Well to be honest, I scoped you out at the Colorado game and I was going to yell "Proletariats unite!!!" and throw up my fist so you could see me and then run away but I got so scared because of what a bully you are and I was also super (frank)ing high and paranoid
