speaking of Tampa, the new contract that they gave to Yanni Gourde that kicks in this coming season of 5.16 mil a year until 2025 seems quite dubious
the full NTC on that contract doesn't kick in until July 1st, basically because the contract doesn't kick in until that date
the Lightning literally give away NTC's like candy
except to JT MIller, he has an 8 team no trade list kicking in July 1st - jimbro83
I can't criticize him totally now, because I did want us to go all in on bringing him in, but I think questions on how much a visionary Stevie Y is warranted. If they don't get their stuff together soon, this is looking like Detroit south from about 4-5 years ago right before they fell off the cliff. |

What if we just went with no president? Right now Gorton running the show and Sather as some super long distance consultant seems to actually be working out right now. Just hire a couple guys to do the back end stuff and keep it at that. |

the irony of JD coming here is striking
he's going to be the man to eventually figure out the best way to end Lundqvist's NYR career eventually, whether it's soon or after his contract ends in two years
and he is the reason that Eddie Giacomin was abruptly shown the way out the door, so he could take the reigns in the Ranger net without a goalie controversy |

I just wish Micheletti would do Rangers games like he does playoff games. He goes way to homer when he does Ranger games. |

This is true.
I can't believe the end result last night for CBJ. Maybe this seals the deal for Panarin and Bobrovsky to leave? |

Yeah. Kind of surprising. Was hoping BJ's would have won.
Panarin I thought made it be known no matter what he was testing the market. Bob I'm not sure |

I'm kind of with you on that one. I think for Bob it's Florida or CBJ. I don't think he likes the spotlight. I don't know how their cap is, but if I was the Canes, i'd be all in on Bob. Their goalies have done fine, I guess, but I keep waiting for Mrazek to turn into a pumpkin. |

I'm getting close. People rag on me all the time because during the week, lights out at 10. I don't care what important game is on, I've learned not to feel cruddy at work. |

Is that what it's really like? I can still stay up until like 3am and be semi functional. I will probably drop off a cliff and age overnight on my Bday. |
