If they get a number 2 center somewhere that would be enormous, I think that should be the trade they make. It’s really the only weakness if were looking forward a couple years with this crop coming in.
I don’t see Calgary trading Lindholm tho, but def that kind of deal and player |

CGY needs a goalie, I doubt they trade Lindholm but like u said it’s the type of player and trade they should make. |

Way outside the box, but what about Stamkos? They’re in cap hell and he might be the 3rd best player on that team as crazy as it sounds. 5 years left at 8.5, good trade history between the 2 teams

Call me crazy, but I’d give strome every chance to be the 2c this year. It buys us time with the three young guys and we keep all the assets. If it turns out we need one, go shopping at the deadline.
Or...Hayes. Would rather bring him back for nothing but money and save the assets |

They got swept in the 1st round, maybe looking at a change? I know it’s 99/100 not happening, just making convo - nyrangers9479
Okay, so just to play into it, what would it cost? And do you want to pay it? |

I’ve suggested Strome as the 2C also, don’t hate the idea at all. Let Chytil start as the 3C |

Not denying that it’s a good lineup, but it’s so unrealistic...
Zib and Kravs would have to be included for starters, I would think. |

here are the remaining scenarios:
if it's San Jose vs St Louis it's our worst:
we'd pick 20th and 49th
if it's Colorado vs St Louis:
we'd pick 19th and 49th
San Jose vs Dallas:
we'd pick 20th and probably 28th
Colorado vs Dallas is our dream:
we'd pick 19th and 28th

this is from early in February 2017:
Steven Stamkos appears to be moving to Davis Islands.
The Tampa Bay Lightning captain paid $3.85 million in late January for a mansion on the Davis Islands waterfront, according to Hillsborough County property records.
The sellers, Constance and Michael Solomon, paid $2.05 million for the home in 2002.
The home, built in 1970, is 4,851 square feet. It was listed for sale at $4.29 million, according to the Multiple Listing Service. It was recently renovated, according to the listing, and has a 60-foot dock.
The listing describes the home as "U-shaped," allowing for views of the bay, pool and sunsets from most rooms. It has five bedrooms and four full bathrooms.
Stamkos signed an eight-year contract worth a reported $8.5 million per season with the Lightning in mid-2016. He owns another home in the Westshore Yacht Club, which does not appear to be listed for sale. Stamkos paid $750,000 for that residence in 2010, according to property records.
think Stamkos would waive his NMC? |

One thing I've learned in sports is I never say never. I'm with you, I doubt he'd waive. They've practically built this whole team around him for better or for worse. Him and Hedman I think are about a lifers to an org like Hank is to us.

speaking of Tampa, the new contract that they gave to Yanni Gourde that kicks in this coming season of 5.16 mil a year until 2025 seems quite dubious
the full NTC on that contract doesn't kick in until July 1st, basically because the contract doesn't kick in until that date
the Lightning literally give away NTC's like candy
except to JT MIller, he has an 8 team no trade list kicking in July 1st |
