I hope that doesn’t happen - for everyone’s sake.

I took that comment as sarcasm, sometimes it’s difficult to tell around here though.

I didn't really see much of him in the first round. I can't imagine he did all that well if his pay went down...

A 6/7 player, that said he played in all four games had two assists was a +2, 16:17 ATOI. But easy to miss just two blocks and one hit.

Agreed, there's way too much sarcasm around here. People really need to tone it down.

Why are we rehashing the past? Lots of misses early when stan and kelly but better last few years.

This should be sarcasm but something tells me it's not. So help me understand something.

You've been here about as long as I have from the looks of it. Since I've been here every move the team's made from free agents to trades to draft picks, have all been scrutinized and rehashed ad nauseam, but when it's presented in this format, you find it objectionable?

Was it something from the article that makes you say this, or just your general opinion?

General opinion, and looking at his track record in 6 seasons as a head coach in professional hockey.

No, my opinion is JC hasn’t accomplished anything in his 6 years as a professional coach, and his teams have been worse than average defensively in all 6 seasons. Rockford was 22nd in the AHL in his season there. And we know where the Blackhawks ranked last season.

If he doesn’t get the D turned around early next season, he’s not going to last long.

I was being sarcastic not every draft pick is going to pan out there is no perfect gm. Gm trusts his scouts to give the info to make a pick sometimes it works out more often than not it doesn't. One other point bowman has learned that making hockey trades that beneifits both teams is sometimes more important than obtaining picks. Hey darth besides Caulfield who would pick at 3?

I liked Justin Lowe's writings so much better.

Also miss the big KarASS's comments on his Cousins and meat.

Canes play incredibly smart hockey. They defend their own zone well and get the puck OUT when in trouble. Offensively, they do a lot of dump and chase and forecheck like hell.
Just like the Capitals series, they are forcing a 200 ft game and it's frustrating the Islanders.

Well coached team Rod. Good luck against the Jackets. (HOPEFULLY)

TT is fortunate enough to have a coach who knows how to develop young players. He’d still be here if it weren’t for Q.

Or maybe he finally grew up and found it was time to take it all seriously.

Q was tasked with winning; he didn’t have time to develop players who maybe weren’t ready to be developed.

Not every player who didn’t work out here was because “Q didn’t” or “Q couldn’t” or “Q wouldn’t”....

In the Bracket Challenge, would you believe somebody picked the Canes to go to the Conference finals? Who is Rob.7????

Agreed....just a beautiful passer and playmaker. It totally sux to think of Bowman's past bad contracts that ultimately lead to these horrendous trades to get out of his own Cap Hell.

This is his last chance to show how good of a GM he is. Plenty of Cap money, the 3rd pick in the draft, and quite a few tradeable players to rebuild this team into real contenders next year. IF he fails , he'll be dismissed !! This is his Summer to make the right choices.

Hjarlmarsson, Saad, Jokiharju... all rookie players that Q fell in love with from the onset and gave plenty of ice time and responsibility - because they earned it by their willingness to play the right way.

Q wasn’t perfect, but the narrative that he didn’t like young players just needs to stop.
