I liked Francis as a player. One of my fave best all around players ever. As a GM he did good on drafting/trading on a team that wasn’t a ceiling team. Well spoken hockey guy through & through & would mesh with the JB’s very well is my thinking

Francis has to be one of the most under rated players of his time. Playing in Hartford prolly didn't help, but at least he got a ring with the pens.

They can't bring back Gillis already they haven't brought back Burke yet.

With JB wanting a top 6 RW i’ve difficulty on the who & the fit. The 3rd wheel is important to make both lines fully gel & be dangerous for a 1-2 punch. As for Gaudette he is a wildcard atm & i’m not sure what he needs yet. Maybe a play driver with top speed & skill.

On D overall we need much better skating skating & passing. Grit would be nice but if play smart would counter thst.

My mistake i stand corrected. So a RW makes more sense. It would explain the Pearson & Leivo deals more clearly.

RW Caulfield would make some here happy happy. I just don’t like the fit & his size & being 1 dimensional. Kakko & Podkolzin should be gone by the 10th. Picking a LW puts Leivo on notice cuz i think Pearson is fairly safe. Sven is the big ???
