I feel like this is only half the conversation. I have varying interest in all of those players but what is the cost? |

I personally wouldn't part for much to fill that 2C slot, since I feel like it's really only a super short term need. Frost and Patrick will fill it soon enough. Or you can just shuffle the lines and put Coots or G there.
If one of those players can be pried loose at relatively lower cost than usual, then I'm interested. If not, no problem. |

I'm with you on this. What are we going to give up a major piece for? A player who helps make us a playoff team? No thanks. I'll stay patient.

Nah Rask's a great guy he's just not very good and I'd love a division rival to get him. |

Nylander, with whatever question marks he comes with, has Claude Giroux-level skill. The contract is huge, but he's 22. He has a history of producing at a high-end 2nd-line level. This could be the one and only chance to get him out of TO.
As for checking the AV 'vet' box, better to do that on defense, where they're looking for a vet anyway. The 2C needs to be fast, hungry and effective. - Tomahawk
The contract isn't really that huge if you think he was Giroux-level skill which I don't disagree with. His cap hit for the next 5 years will be under 7 mil. |

The weather in Florida sucks. Let’s stop bullpoopting around here and call a spade a spade. It’s the taxes and the women in Miami. |

the weather was awesome for like the 1 week of spring that we had down here and it's just (frank)ing hot now. Late June-August is a (frank)ing nightmare. |

Suggestions of trading Gostisbehere for Kadri! LMAO and I like Kadri. - MJL
Kadri can be deployed as a shutdown center while banking 50 points. Not sure what’s so funny. Flyers fans typically overrate their own.
That filpulla presence that is missed? Kadri is that presence on steroids. I don’t care about the suspensions, it only drives his price down |

It's not about how good of a player Kadri is. Flyers fans typically suggest bad trades. This is one of those.

Speaking of a veteran presence, why not look at a guy like Marleau for the third line, Toronto is in serious cap trouble and needs to shed contracts. One year left on it and probably could be had for cheap. This guy still skates well and is very respected. - ClaudeFather

He IS good. He's been a Vezina winner and his career save percentage in over 500 NHL games is over 92%. |

I would only consider trading Ghost for a SOLID D man who could be trusted to play the last minute of a game. Who that is, I don't know. I would also like a physical player to play on that 4th line with Laughton and Hartman.
UFA's....Neilson, Lee, or Hayes could be worth a look
