I'm not advocating Martin, or for ANY coach for that matter, but do you really think the season ticket holders give a flying (frank) what style of game is being played, if there are W's attatched to them? Especially after seeing the sh!tshow if the past 8 years?

only some fans but it will affect free agents and players that want to stay here the nhl is going back to speed and skill I know if I’m a UFA I’m not jumping for joy to play defense all game getting some wins 2-1 and getting scored on 2-0 1-0

Idc if we run a trap the whole game and don’t even send a forechecker in the zone. I’ll be the most boring team in the league as long as it Leeds to team success. Seems to work for the Isles, Stars, Bruins, and Blues. Playing defense and capitalizing on opportunities.

Please NO to Babcock. I have heard enough about him, and seen enough to know he over coaches. Zetterburg won a Cup with Babcock as coach, and said they would have won 3 with a different coach.
If the Sabres get the Swedish guy, maybe EK signs with us??? If so, I hope they do not overpay him. I hope and think JB is smart enough to see the problems these other teams are having that overpay a few guys, than can't afford anyone else.

I’m not endorsing Martin per say, I just want to make sure whoever we hire can implement team structure defensively. I love playing a mobile game and having our d-men jump into the rush but we can’t be a disaster in our own end like we have been the past two seasons.

No Babcock... No Martin either.. not sure who is left with quality experience.

Regarding BOS-TOR .. I really dislike both of them but I think I dislike Boston a little more right now (screw Marchand). Toronto hasn't won in a while and Boston has. I wanted Boston to to lose then Tavares lose to the Islanders... That would be shameful on so many levels. I would have called that a win win... but that didn't happen.

I'd rather hire a college or young ahl coach over a retread, said that before

I do not consider scarface a retread because he had early success in tampa and ottawa but both teams were going through rebuild in the 3rd year

He's had some amazing seasons and he's had his share of mediocre. Just like every other coach in the past 30 years.
