I've taken a lot of poop here for not being an Andersen fan. I have acknowledged the times, during the regular season, when he has been the team's best player.
As a fan, does anyone feel good about having him in net for a game 7? How do you think the players feel about that? - Aetherial
I think he's fine myself, pretty tough to win a game 7 with 1 goal.
Should have had the 1st one I guess, maybe the 3rd one ( not sure, was already crying in my beer by then )....I'm more concerned with our D and how soft we are in our own zone.
Next year is our year. |

says a lot about the parity in the league when all 4 wildcard teams made it through to round 2

This one year.
It would say more if this repeats. |

well, the Leafs only scored 1 goal because Rask, stepped up. 2 of 3 bad goals has a pretty bad effect on a team that is already fragile.
If this was the first time he sh1t the bed, it could be overlooked. It isn't his first time.
Would you be comfortable and confident with him as your game 7 goalie? I sure as hell wouldn't. |

Although, I'd argue CBJ had no business being an 8 seed outside of them under performing for parts of the season. Kind of reminds me of when the Kings/Preds were 8 seeds and won/went to the cup final. I think we all know they're better than that.

We need to play better in front of him, he got us to game 7 with his play this year.
Not sure who we could put in that would be better, certainly not Sparxxxxxxxxxxxxx. |

Well you're gonna get that when there's 4 points between a 3rd place in the division and a team eliminated from the playoffs.
Difference between making the playoffs and missing them is now pretty god damn small.
And then there's the Tampa bay fiasco. |

Exactly.
We were suppose to outscore our opponents. Or at least that's what people were yelling that at me on here late summer.
D still remains an issue (has been for years), it has to be addressed in the off season. Muzzin was a good step, shedding gardiner is another. |
