I mean, it wouldn’t make sense to bring him now but all those times he practiced here with our players. How close he remained with guys here and even players in LA who were also from here. People female dog about Patrick Sharp along time around here. Williams has surpassed Sharp easily and that’s a major self inflicted wound.

Mrzek had basically a .900 (.899 to be precise) save percentage in the first round. Goaltending did not win the series for the Canes, although Mrazek did make some timely key saves. He's not a bad goalie but he is very streaky.

No one said Schenn is a "bum". He was, and still is, a very nice complementary piece on a team. Would still take two first-round picks for him in a heartbeat.

Justin Williams is such a tough pill. We had him, we let him go, all signs show that he wanted to come back. With this said, a lesson could be learned. Justin Williams isn’t young but his hard work and determination, Intangibles, are evidence of a player who will rise to the top when it matters.
