Gardiner is already a UFA.
Who? Not much out there. Marlies aren't proven to be upgrades either.
Back-up situation is fixable.
Not really. Boston played well when it mattered. They played better playoff hockey. Smarter and tougher.
The course includes major changes. Too much money spent on forwards, not enough help on defense, not enough attention to a "playoff" mentality. - JohnFergusonJr
Lol. Rask played over his head.
But i guess the 2013 bruins are unbeatable |

And Andersen didn't?
Other than Game 7, Andersen played above his seasonal average, as high as .940s - .970s? |

Seriously, if the Leafs could dump Marleau and a 3rd for Glendening, they're killing two birds with one stone. They need a solid 4th line C to kill penalties, win face-offs and make Babcock happy.
Why would the Red Wings want to eat Marleau's contract? |

The difference through the first 6 games was the B's PP/Leafs PK.

Special teams are an important part of the game. To say the Leafs outplayed the Bruins when their special teams sucked so bad is oxymoronic. |

We have space and could use a pick or young player. Yzerman is interesting. He knows it’s going to take time and I expect him to take two to three years before going into contention. |

If this is the case, I fully expect all the bad Tampa Bay Lightning contracts to end up in Detroit.

Who said that? Not me ....People are breaking down the series. Games 1-6 Leafs outscored the B's 11-8 at 5v5. Leafs with an edge. Special teams allowed the series to get to a 7th game. B's executed tonight. |

From Babcock's press conference he appears to know nothing about the Marlies players. |

The Oilers don’t have an analytics department. Worked out well so far for them. |
