Then he would be minus 4.

He was -3 and it was Boston's bottom 6 doing the scoring.

- Aetherial

SO Gardiner, Dermont, and Andersen are his fault?

Plus minus is the most deceiving stat ever...

It was also Gardiner and Dermott giving the puck directly to the Bruins players that lead to two of those minuses. The third was an empty netter.

Matthews shoots the puck in the net when he is wide open. He creates virtually nothing on his own unless it's early in the regular season. He is a shooter making 11.5 and will leave when his contract is done. How he got more than JT is mind boggling, unless you realize Dubas. He showed some d game but to win in the playoffs you need to be nasty. He is not nasty. A good guy to have on a team with other guys that play physical, not that guy in the wussy leafs. I like him but they did zero to help him.

He won’t sign to play for Babcock.

How many 1sts will a 12per offer sheet get us?

- Byfuglien Ate Me

We’ll packaged those 4 1sts and Nylander for McDavid

We're already (frank)ed. We'll play the Bruins next season and the same thing will happen unless a change in strategy occurs.

I'd take Hainsey for 1 more year on the 3rd pairing until Sandin is ready.

seriously I'd rather sign Hainsey than Gardiner... its not that Hainsey's great - he isn't but he's serviceable ...

Gardiner on the other hand makes every partner worse

That will be the biggest addition by subtraction move that they can make

Why does Marner not feel any wrath. He did Richard after the shot block. That was a long time ago.
- drexel

shh... he’s the one player you can’t criticize ever.

Again, fair enough. I'll get going. Just know there are a lot of bruin haters out there.
- bloatedmosquito

Honestly, I can't even really hate the Bruins. They played a team game, got sound goaltending, understand playoff refereeing and I didn't see much particularly dirty play that I wouldn't see anywhere else.

Chara would be the one exception. It is unbelievable what he gets away with.

Best top 6 for the Leafs next year is:

Hyman Matthews Bracco
Simmonds or some other grinding player (doesn't matter about the skill level) Tavares Marner

- walshyleafsfan

You do NOT want Simmonds. For (frank)s sake. He’s a terrible, terrible, terrible hockey player.

I also blame Matthews for playing only 18 minutes. WHat was he thinking?

Yes I heard that too ?? Odd thing to say at a Elimination game presser
- Geez

Bracco?

Engvall and Marchment are 2 that could find their way up. Don’t watch much of the Marlies, but they’re big boys who get a lot of PIMs and decent offensive numbers.

Yep. CAnt trade him now. I was saying they should have traded him instead of giving in to his ridiculous demands...

Have to keep him and hope he has a great year next year, then trade his arse

- Hockey_Reverend

Nylander is tradeable, once the $10M dollar signing bonus is paid on July 1st. The cap hit stays the same, but the team getting him will pay significantly less and that's appealing to a team that needs to get to the cap floor without paying him the cap hit.
