It's sad Babcock doesn't play his stars. Hoping for a Marleau rejuvenating comeback. Brutal. - 5Hole Mgee

Why is he still on the team? I guess we don't have any better options?
When he blows the game tonight with an inexplicable giveaway, what will his apologists say? - BestRapperAlive
his time is way down, at 14 min 5v5 a game
Last year he was 20 min against the Bruins
Goals 2-1 and his cf% is 55 this series.
either he is hurt or babs soured on him

What do you mean, he puts the 4th line out after every goal. Look to last game where Ennis came out and got a penatly. |

same but earlier
I do think he plays too much, as I would put someone else in the lineup over Marleau |

4th line has been pretty good though, even though I hate the penalty. |

I don't know, he doesn't hurt us defensively, he's heavy blah blah blah.
His analytics say he's "ok" and he's 14th in ice time for the team.
1 more game and we won't have to worry about it, if he decides to hang them up. |

While I agree, why play them right after a goal. They are your 4th line for a reason. |

That was the 1st penalty( i think ), you mean right after a goal?
Anyways, they are the top possession line on the team. I'm guessing they were due or Boston threw there 4th line out. Not sure........................ |

Last few games Boston using their top unit pretty much the whole PP and it's worked for them. Matthews has a hot hand right now and should probably be out there longer with the man advantage. Seems like the Leafs top unit gets pressure and chances and then leave the ice half way through. If Babcock wants to get stars more ice time that's the place he should do it. |

They have their top unit out there because the Leafs don't pressure, pretty sure they could stand around on the PP for 60 mins straight if needed
I agree, I don't like that our 1st unit has headed for the bench after 45 secs. But also they weren't getting (frank) all done. (frank)

Babcock can't hold back worrying about the next game. If he tries to limit minutes to keep guys rested, well they will end up with an entire summer to be rested. |

A lot of teams these days are riding PP1 and he doesn't seem to be doing that in this series. I found it quite odd.

just saw this
@SteveBurtch
The Leafs are 0-5 vs BOS in the past 2 years in playoff games where Marleau sees over 16:30 in TOI.
2018 G1, G2, G7
2019 G4, G6
Might be a coincidence. Might not.
