Like everyone else, I regret Kadri's cross check, it was a huge mistake. But, I am surprised so many are so quick to want to offer him up in a trade. I really thought the Leafs missed his jam in Boston's last two wins. I believe Kadri would have made a difference had he been able to take a few shifts against the Bruins bottom six.

2 more full seasons with Freddie on the books. No reason to think he'll get traded since there's no viable alternative, but at the same time he won't be re-upped without giving us a couple series wins.

I agree that he gets next year to prove himself. Washington was overachieving. Last year game 7 was "progress" against a better team. This year is a failure and usually coaches get one of those.
